Jock Condon

Jock joined the British Air Force as a Military Police Officer in 1994. During his seven and a half years protecting military installations and personnel, Jock deployed to the Former Republic of Yugoslavia to serve with NATO Peacekeeping Forces in Croatia and Bosnia. For his time on the ground there, Jock was awarded the NATO Peacekeeping Medal.

In the fall of 2001, Jock transitioned from military law enforcement to a Police Department in the south of England. There, Jock quickly earned a reputation as a problem solver as he investigated crimes and built criminal cases in order to take suspects to trial.

In January 2008, Jock was recruited as an Operator with British Diplomatic Security, joining their teams in Afghanistan. He provided physical security and safety measures to the diplomats who were there as part of the reconstruction program. During his time in country, Jock personally planned and executed security details for various high-ranking government officials. In a larger setting, Jock participated in the protection details of multiple Prime Ministers, Ambassadors, and Royalty. Overall, Jock spent over three years with British Diplomatic Security in Afghanistan, was a Team Leader, and was awarded the Afghan Civil Service Medal.

In November of 2010, he took his Diplomatic Security experience into the private sector. As an independent security consultant, Jock provided security services to senior executives from an international oil and gas company who were conducting business in the Middle East. He provided armed close protection to clients on visits to large oil fields and local government facilities and to ensure their safety from illegal activities.

Jock has also provided security services to some of the largest shipping companies in the world operating in high-risk areas around Somalia. To safeguard multi-million dollar vessels, cargo, and the lives of all crew members, Jock conducted vulnerability assessments of their existing security measures, then made recommendations for implementing improvements to upgrade vessel security and thus reduce the risk of piracy. Jock designed Emergency Response Procedures and trained the staff on how to follow them. This led to several successful journeys through the high-risk area and the protection of billions of dollars in company assets.

After relocating to the USA, Jock joined a high-profile Executive Protection company to provide personal protection services to Fortune 500 owners and executives. Jock was personally responsible for multiple clients’ personal protection, full protective advance planning, frequent domestic travel, protective surveillance, and secondary medical coverage. Jock had to conduct ongoing dynamic risk assessments as well as individual or multiple site threat assessments in order to facilitate safe and reliable business visits. Jock frequently liaised directly with law enforcement and federal agencies to ensure client and team safety.

In 2015, Jock took on the role of Executive Protection Program Manager for the CEO of a San Francisco tech company. Jock’s role there was to design and build the Executive Protection program from the ground up, establishing standard operating procedures as the program evolved. Jock dealt directly with outside vendors to identify the best and most cost-efficient security coverage provided through rigorous vetting procedures, resulting in a global network of business partnerships.

Jock is a graduate of Buckinghamshire New University, completing courses in Protective Security Management and becoming a Certified Security Consultant (CSC), which is internationally recognized by the Institute of Risk Management.
